Before the Holiday: Keeping Every Titanium Delivery on Track

As China’s National Day holiday approaches, manufacturing is not simply about working faster. It is about organizing every detail so that projects can continue smoothly after the holiday.

For titanium products, especially large flanges, rings, and custom-machined components, delivery quality depends on more than the finished product. Drawing review, machining, dimensional inspection, material identification, surface protection, packaging, and documentation all need to work together.

Before a titanium flange enters the delivery stage, key dimensions should be checked against the drawing and technical requirements. These may include the outside diameter, inside diameter, thickness, neck dimensions, bolt-hole position, sealing face, and surface condition. Large components also require careful support during lifting, transfer, and temporary storage. Finished sealing surfaces, bores, and bolt holes should be protected from impact, contamination, and unnecessary friction.

Quality records must remain connected to the product. Material grade, heat number or batch information, material certificates, inspection records, and, when required, PMI results should be properly matched with product identification. Clear documentation supports receiving inspection, project management, and future traceability, especially for international orders.

Export packaging is another important part of delivery. Internal supports and protective materials should be selected according to the product structure, helping prevent damage during lifting, loading, and transportation.
